| My campaign is motivated by a commitment to a legal system that is firm, fair and equal and to the high calling of public service. I have been practicing law for twenty-five years. I bring to this campaign an experience and perspective gained from years as a prosecutor with the Cobb County District Attorney’s office and years of service to private clients.
I also bring with me the experience I have gained as an Appellate attorney with over 50 cases argued and over 400 briefs filed in the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court. Most importantly, I bring common sense values forged from a life devoted to my family and my community.
I have an abiding respect for the Georgia and United States Constitutions. I promise that if I am bestowed the honor of serving the citizens of the State of Georgia, I will be impartial and afford all parties and attorneys the consideration, dignity and respect to which they are entitled. I know the role of an appellate judge is not to create law, but to interpret the law in a manner that respects the traditions of our legal community and honors the values of the people of Georgia.
